My favorite freestyle rig with some custom orange style! As my only freestyle rig, it was designed to rip like crazy AND keep me in the air with reliable and easily replaceable components and a protective but minimal frame. "Slammed" custom frame setup is a QQ-190 4mm "Tank" baseplate/arms, 3mm top and camera pod and orange 20mm standoffs, which allows use of Racekraft 5051s. As a designer in "real life", style and performance are equally important to me. Minimal 3d printed lens shield accents the "eye" and has saved my lens countless times.
AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

Hi, I'm just building up a QQ190, couple of questions: Are you really running 3030 props? I thought most people ran 5 inch props on QQ190s? Also, is that an orange printed lens guard of some sort over your camera lens? Any link to that stl? Nice build! Cheers!
Hey,
Thanks. The QQ-190 is great!
I'm currently flying Dal 5X3X4s and I love them. I must have put the wrong props on the build. The lens bumper doesn't cover the lens, just runs around the edge, but it has saved my camera several times. I'm having trouble posting it on Thingiverse but email me at Jaydicenso@gmail.com and I'll send it to you.
