This is my go-to freestyle quad, a bit chunky at 620g, but power for days! Most of my flying videos are flown with this quad currently. I recently updated the motors to Cobra Champion 2207 2450kv and switched to a bit lighter prop, Cyclone 5045 instead of the 5046. I'm running BF 3.1.7 with the PT1 filter and higher frequency notch removed on this guy and it's smooth!
AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. How do you like those batteries? I'm looking for some new ones
My favorite on this frame are the CNHL packs, due to the shape. I'm not sure if they're making the same packs any more. These are fairly low profile and longer, and they fit the Chameleon perfectly just behind the GoPro. They're also actually a bit more than 1300mah. Probably closer to 1400, or a bit more. I usually draw about 1200mah out of them and they come in at between 3.65 or 3.7v per cell. I want to place another order, but I'm not sure if I'll get the same packs.
Thanks! I might get some of these (1500 mAh ones tho)
