This was an original prototype frame sent to me by Armattan for feedback. Spent a good deal of time flying this guy as one of my main freestyle quads, though I'm flying the production Chameleon now. Recently swapped motors, since it looks like the original Oomph are not longer going to be produced. Put on the Garila J2506 2750kv "Wild" motors. Still need to give them a workout, but they feel pretty good so far. AUW is about the same as my Chameleon with the Cobra 2207 2450kv motors now, and handling seems very similar.
AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

How you getting on with the AKK X2? Still debating whether the Unify is worth the extra dough!
It's been working great for me so far! The smart audio works flawlessly, and signal is perfect with my TrueD and Dom v2. I'm very pleased, especially at the price point.
Did you use softserial to wire smart audio? If so, which port did you use? I want to do it on one of the motor pads when I get mine (5/6).
Yep, I used soft serial on one of the motor pins. I can't remember if I used 5 or 6, but any motor pins have the timers needed, so either should be fine.
Great! Glad it works. I'll be doing that with my Unify when I get the stuff, and then I can keep the LED pad to run LEDs.
