I'm working on a 3" quad using the same motors and props, and I have a question. I can't get the locking nuts to screw onto the motor shafts far enough to actually engage the nylon insert. Did you have any trouble with that?
Not at all. They screwed right on for me.
Who knows. I'm going to run by the hardware store later today and get some shorter M5 nylock nuts and try those out.
