Bullshit freestyle rig.
Frame is a ValueHobby "QAV Clone" but its actually an ASTROX X5 monoplate clone. whatever. For $20, its pretty dang stout.
It needed a little bit of modding to get everything just right. I fabbed a flexi extension antenna mount made with a self healing mat, zip ties, a little bit of sugru, and its a bomb proof antenna mount.
Also, I made a mini rear stack made from cut sheets of plastic + standoffs + adhesive tape and now my rx and the vtx snuggle into each shelf. Its kind of a sideways COMDOCK on an MQC, but not really. its a bit more ghetto.
mameshiba decal adds 20 grams of thrust. science. ⚗️
also.. looks like im missing a nut on the FC stack... that could explain for some wobbles.
Dry weight = 419 grams
AUW with GP Hero 3+ and 1550mAh packs = 716 grams.
I like fat quads.
