So this quad is kinda of new school frame, with some now old school build. Let start with the Frame you have mono plate 160mm true X. Its really small and compact for a 4 inch. Its can take a 20x20 or 30.5x30.5 electronic. Hence if you are looking for a small quad to carry the new Runcam Split this frame will carry it no problem you will just need to get spacer to put in the main stack. The frame comes with several cool and useful 3d prints. You get a very cool floating 20x20 FC mount, arm guards and soft mounts for 13xx,14xx or in my case RCX 1707s.Which BTW this frame only take 1806 that use M2 mounting screws and you would have to only use 2 of the holes. It also comes with a camera mount for both full sized, mini and even a micro camera will fit in there, and not picture is the rear VTX backpack which I am receiving very soon.
For my electronics I used the Piko BLX so I could use the soft mounts, but due to the Piko issues with running 13xx and up motors with its 50a current limit. I ran the Piko PDB as well. Make for a reliable and slightly heavier build but the Piko will never pop built up like this. The new Piko with it 100a Current limit would really with this build. I also test fitted and Asgard and it would easily fit in this as well, it would also save quite a bit of weight. As for motors the recommend build is 14xx motors but I went with 1707 so I could have more torque and easily spin triblades. plus RCX 1707 are half as much as nice 1407. For my purpose of wrecking into stuff ill keep the cheaper maybe torquey motors.
The FPV system is the new Runcam Mini and an Eachine VTX03, running the stock whip. Simple light and fullsize Runcam image quality. my first Mini and I have to say color me impressed,as with all runcam FPV cameras.
One last little trick is an armattan PDB mount trimed and desticky on one side make for a great battery pad for this little guy or any 30.5x30.5 quad like this.
As for batteries I plan to run 850 and 1000 mah 4s batteries buts its a nice cruiser on 850mah 3s as well.
with more flying I ll post a longer review on how it flies, but after 2 3s batteries and 1 4s batteries I do not think you will be disappointed.

AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..
