Falcon 130 that's been rebuilt at least 3 times. I've always had a thing for 3" FPV quads, and this is the successor to my Atom 122, which busted an arm. Fun to bash around the park and big hits have never been an issue, though the props tend to break at this weight fairly easily. The RX antenna reception has been fine for me in this position and it's fairly low-maintenance since they don't hit much or get knocked into the props.

The FPV antenna is kept in the prop line (thanks to this technique from SiieeFPV ) which has saved me a ton of time, money and effort in rebuilding and repairs to the FPV gear due to the arms/motors taking hits, instead of having the antenna get bent out of shape or just hit while it's hanging out. The antenna sometimes gets deflected into the props in an unlucky hit, but it's less of an issue than bending and strain on the antenna coax.

253.3g all-up (I could probably shave those 3g off the battery strap with all the excess hanging out) with a 4s 850mah Tattu, 149.6g dry.

Runs well on 850mah 4s packs. 3s 450mah are fun for a bit, but it chews through those. 3s 850mah are a bit chunky but fine for a slower flier or learner.

AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

With the release of the DJI FPV Drone cinematic FPV has become a lot more accessible, but you certainly don't want to crash a $750 drone! The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..
