This is the second multirotor I've built. My first was a ZMR250 that didn't last many flights because I crashed it often and ended up breaking one of the arms off. When i broke the ZMR frame, I decided to find a frame I could move the components to and ended up with the LS-210 frame. My goal is to use this setup for learning and fly as much as possible this summer. UPDATE Made it through most of the summer of 2016 before the frame broke. In retrospect, there's too much weight up top (battery, runcam, buzzer). What happened was, even with light impact the upper plate shifted forward, bending the soft aluminum standoffs, then eventually the main plate broke clean through. Check out the picture for where the main plate cracked.
AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..

Looks great. I do kind of like that frame over my ZMR 250 also. Although I JUST replaced the arms on mine tonight after one broke and the new ones didn't match the old. Will probably make the same move as you did and just go for another frame similar to this if the ZMR doesn't hold up. I like the FPV camera solution that frame has, where there's a cut out on the top plate so you can really angle the camera to whatever you may like!
