AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

It depends on how much you trust yourself on crashing but to utilize and maximize this power, it would be be more ideal to go with a thin arm frame (like the qav ulx, xfoot frame or the Flaco) or a tube frame (DIY) or a vertical arm frame(Fossil stuff revo 5, skyline rampage or the catalystmachineworks stigg195). but the frame you picked will do fine for durability (but almost any frame will be less durable with super heavy motors on the end of their arms). You could go with the 1500mah turnigy graphine to be a bit easier in giving out those amps but I have personally never owned one so that's just a suggestion. And also for ESCs and motors, there are the wraith32 plus which are 50a blheli32 escs and there are lighter, more powerful motors than the f80, such as the EFAW 2407
