I started this build with parts from other drones I had. what are your thoughts? I am a little worried about the motors not being enough
Update (17-Jul-17)
the gimbal was changed to a 3d gimbal after having problems with EBAY not being able to get it on time (sep 28 delivery). I figure to include a retractable gear since the gimbal is now 3D (lets see how it goes....)
Battery & Motor must likely will be replace with better ones after initial build.
AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..

Your setup will definitely get the job done, but 2216's- 820kv would be a better choice. I would at least jump up to a 4s battery if you plan to carry a gimbal and have any kind of flight time. My first build started out much like yours, but has been upgraded a couple times since.
Thanks for the feedback. I will have to research how to setup a 4s battery since I never done it before. Once I finish the build I will use Ecalc to come up with a better estimate of flight time etc....
it seems like the MT2212 II motors cant be used with 4s. am I mistaken?
I copied this from your link, it states from 3 to 4s.
Framework: 12N14P
KV: 900KV
Length: 38.7MM
Diameter: 27.9MM
No.of cells: 3-4s
Max. thrust: 720g
Shaft: 3MM
Propeller: 8"-10"
Weight: 50g
I based the information from the results I got from Ecalc. I guess I need to do more homework....
