I am unsure of the future of the MultiGP spec class, and hope to spark some discussion with this build. Nevertheless, these components are top notch. The geometry and build quality of the frame is exceptional. I was a little leery of the tpu camera mount, but found it to be much better than the hyperfloss. It holds the camera firmly in place, and provides plenty of angle with a full sized camera. Although I plan to race this thing hard, I ran with the silver and black scheme for the build. The orange motor wires on the F40III motors aren't my favorite, so I covered them with heat shrink. I also covered the esc wires with mesh. Admittedly, all the embellishments are unnecessary for something that is going to be smashing into air gates at full throttle, but I couldn't help myself. Thanks for looking, and please post your opinion of the spec class.
How is it connecting the battery? It looks like the battery would have a hard time reaching the connector.. Also have you have any issues connecting the battery straight to the FC? seems like it could bend/snap after so many plugs and unplugs..
I am curious because I am buying all of these same parts this weekend!
The ICM-20602 gyro is capable of 32k pid loops, which is awesome, but it's also sensitive. Stock Betaflight 3.2 pid and filter settings caused some twitchy behavior, but I was able to tune it out without too much trouble. I've since added some motor soft mounts in hopes of getting a little more aggressive tune on this dude.
Man I really like the extra effort you put into this build to make it look so crisp and sexy. Great work!
AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..
