My first build!! It went surprisingly well and has survived its maiden. It flies great and is a large step up from my eachine wizard. As this was my first build, I probably should have gone with a frame that had more space in it but when I saw this frame, I just fell in love with it, and the removable arms make it even better.
Advice for others who want to build using these parts would be: If you want a stack of more than two boards, use shorter standoffs than the anti-vibration ones I used otherwise you will run out of space. Don't buy wire braiding if you have separate esc's and mounted them like I did, there is no room for it to make a difference(however it would certainly protect the wires of a 4in1). The motors don't come with motor screws and the frame doesn't come with any form of nylon standoff.
498g with lipo(a tattu 1300mah, the graphene weighs more) and props
334g without
It seems strong and I like how I can top mount the lipo. But it's really weird how the front and back arms are different, they don't fit against each other for extra strength and how the aluminium plates are the same on both sides(Edit: This is a fault and I have contacted banggood to see if they can send me new plates)
Fine
OEM emax rs2205
Surprised that these aren't being used by more people since they are great value
Just a simple hs1177
I love the cyclones
Interesting that you managed to mount the battery on top. I wanted to put the FPV and RX antennas on top so I can't do that, but it's a pain to put the strap at the bottom because, either it passes below my first board in the stack (the 4-in-1 ESC in my case), or I pass it through the external side of the slots but then I need a longer strap and it tugs on a thinner carbon section. Where did you put the FPV and RX antennas? I assume you kept the linear polarized one from the VTX03?
Be sure to protect the battery with the CF plate they gave you with the frame if you mount it at the bottom. Hard landings could also damage the battery. I put some anti-slip (rubber) sticker on the CF plate to have the battery not move. https://www.aliexpress.com/item/3cm-50cm-Anti-slip-silicone-rubber-plastic-bumper-damper-shock-absorber-3M-self-adhesive-non-slip/32627524691.html
AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..
