My super strong hands with impressive grip strength shattered the nylon winglet upon first touch. I was forced to mount my camera differently than intended, so an old-skool stack and top plate arrangement had to do. If you cant look like the Rocketeer then look like Lothar (the big blocky headed villain from the movie.)

Ooo this looks very similar to the OG prototype, where I used a square top plate off a Falcon 130!

Yeah, actually thats why I ended up using the top place situation. I somehow pulled it apart on the front leg when I was fitting it the first time.

Sounds like I may have accidentally mixed up one from the old batch.. the new stuff we put in a vice and bent it every which way, hit it with a mallet and all that and it was all we could do to break one! I'll getcha a spare or two sent along when we're caught up on the prints my man.
