This is the next step in my development.
I will be still flying my trusty HS1177 until the bugs in the RC Split are fixed
Edit: I had problems with mid-throttle oscillations on the yaw axis which made flying at a low incline almost impossible. I recently put in anti-vibration stand-offs instead of the normal nylon standoffs and all the vibration problems were resolved.
AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

I did not put a Split in it as of right now, because I feel it's currently way too buggy, I'll either wait for a firmware update, that solves all those bugs or until a version two will come out.

Just today I tried strapping a normal GoPro Clone on the top angled plate, that worked well for the time being (although making the quad 60g heavier) and have yet to review the footage
Edit: The footage looks great. No jello, vibrations or anything except the normal propwash vibrations
