Shooting for a clean, durable, and fun build for a tight space/yard flyer where my 3" is just too much. Very low profile and protected camera and non stressed board is what I wanted to try. The build is tight but there is plenty of room once you get organized. At this size, I will probably only use 4in1 ESCs moving forward. I still have some Betaflight things to iron out but this is amazingly quiet. No scale (cannot find it).

Some notes:
Do not use the props listed (green ones). While they really do look cool, they do not stay on at all and there are too many good options out there to deal with the whole dental floss thing. Pink stay on and they are a Hot Prop unit (I am pretty sure)

This board only has 5V so if you are a Spektrum guy, you need to use a receiver that will deal with not having 3.3
I shortened the spacers between the boards and mounted to the bottom plate with O ring spacers. I have a TPU mount comin
Camera and VTX set up is kind neat, though it takes a LOT more space than an AIO camera.

Wish I have a bright green or pink or even black tube for the antenna

I am not that good of a judge yet as I am still pretty new. Having said that... is feels like it "glides" or "flys" more than a vertical stack design (like my Armattan 130 build here). I think it is a great, simple, protected, and well done design. I do need to figure something small with the VTX antenna to prop it up just a bit I think

AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

With the release of the DJI FPV Drone cinematic FPV has become a lot more accessible, but you certainly don't want to crash a $750 drone! The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..
