The Ultimate Compact Bumper

My quest to build a Bumper quad with all parts internally mounted. The plan is to hollow out the frame and make a base plate for the carbon fibre to hold the mini stack. This quad is going to be fully featured complete with an F4, OSD, Telemetry, buzzer and an accessible USB port.

Updates: The buzzer came reversed on the FrSky reciver board and wouldn't work. It will be removed and fitted to the back of the frame. The AIO camera also died so it will be replaced with a micro swift (2.1mm lens)

Build complete! Maiden was a success and it flew beautifully on stock pids. Only downside is that it sounds like a jet engine! Took about two months to be build whilst waiting for parts. The build was relatively easy but there is a lot of DIY foam carving to be done ;)

Hello. you cut out the center of the frame? to be able to place the controller and the ESC inside the mouse? thank you

Sorry for the delay, I don't come here much! Yes, I used an hobby knife to cut the foam through and used a bit of plastic to fill the gap on the baseplate

Yeah this thing is loud as hell. the only downside of ultimate anytime anywhere quad.
I made dual blade prop out of GF2035, slightly better.

Interesting, how do the two blades effect the flight?

first it is slightly less noisier... i fly 1104 6500kv as well with turnigy volt 3s hv 500mah, dual blade was almost identical to 4 blades with little bit more flight time. maybe too high kv for 3s. i want to try 1106 4000kv but this thing is immortal...

AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

With the release of the DJI FPV Drone cinematic FPV has become a lot more accessible, but you certainly don't want to crash a $750 drone! The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..
