Finally finished my Volcor build and I think this is my best build yet! This little guy is powered by a Kiss CC AIO and T1 1407 Motors from Brother hobby. It has full telemetry and programming of PIDs and video channels through the Taranis with an XSR-M and TBS Unify HV Race.
The Unify is soldered to a Whitenoise Mounting Board, and I had originally planning to mount the RX on the underside of the board as well. The RX didn't end up fitting between the underside of the mounting board and the flight controller, so it sits on top of the soldered VTX, nice and compact.
I ended up painting the purple color scheme myself, because Hyph wouldn't paint it for me :satisfied:. I used a purple oil based paint pen from Sharpie, and it turned out pretty nice with just two coats. Probably could have gotten away with one, but I wanted to be sure. I'll definitely be using these on future builds. Dyeing the nylon winglets was easy, but turned out a lot darker of a purple than I hoped -- almost black. I may try again with a new set sometime in the future.
I've yet to maiden this one but can't wait to take it for a spin soon!

Awesome! Other than the camera we built essentially the same quad. What sort of battery are you going to run on it? You might want to try the RotorX 3044 tri-blades. They fly great on this little guy. I was having a hard time tuning the RK 3030s, but that was before the adaptive filter, so your mileage may vary.
I'm going to run some Bonka 850mah 4s 75c packs. Thanks for the tip on the props! I'll give those a try too.
