Rx210

A 210mm X frame, made of some reused pieces of an older (my first) build from 2016.

This is a spare quad, or depending of the day and feeling the main quad. Reused pieces makes this inferior in my mind. Also, I'm still quite lousy flyer and that fore I need always a spare quad. Flydays when I'm not breaking something of my quads are rare. The other quad is a 130mm and this is a bit bigger, so it's also good to have two different sized quads.

Parts
I like FuriosFPV products and I'm using here the older (non-dshot) Radiance flightcontroller. Motors, ESCs and receiver are spare parts or reused, everything else is new. I didn't wan't to waste (or sell) my motors that I had 3 unused spare pieces, also had two of the ESCs still in bag and the old ones also worked fine. I ordered a new smaller frame, smaller VTx, replaced the receiver with more lighter one, replaced the old but still good fpvcam with OSD Swift cam, and tossed away the older SPRacing F3 (tough in that either was nothing wrong - except it had BIG pinns allover it) and that makes the FuriousFPV Radiance also a new. So this is still quite cheap build (don't look at the price, that's not correct, as the pieces are so old that they are not sold anymore) because of the reused pieces. The motors are performing excellent for freestyle and they are powerful enough (as they were strong in the older and heavier build). Batteries are new, performing quite well. I don't have anything bad to say, but I can't really praise them neither, I'd buy them more if needed. No HD camera as I'm not a youtuber.

Frame and build
As always with a new cheap frame, it's a bit trial and error what fits and what not. The other reason for a new fpv cam was, that the old swift1 was a 1 or 2mm too narrow and was a bit too loose, so it had to be changed. The receiver-PDB-FC -stack fits easily and there's room on top also for the Vtx. Using screws or tape they've held well together. Biggest problem is the lack of antenna holder (the small hole for antenna). It's quite a pain to find out how to keep the antenna/VTx unbroken and tight in crashes. The TBS Triumph Stub comes quite handy in here, after it's been fixed with extra soldering (so it won't bend, snap and brake).

AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

With the release of the DJI FPV Drone cinematic FPV has become a lot more accessible, but you certainly don't want to crash a $750 drone! The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..
