My precious 4" light weight budget build. 235g AUW /w 800mah 3S batteries and 245g AUW with 650mah 4s.
Really happy with the frame. Light and tight but still 4mm bottom plate. Super cheap too!
The stack holds up well and the motors too. Cheap and fairly durable.
Built for both bottom and top mounted battery. I fly with bottom mount atm.
Wanting to build this, but i'm not a great solderer and 20*20 seems too small for me. does this frame support standard 30.5mm fc's?
Hi,
I'm looking to get into drone building and yours seems like a great one to start with! :D
Is there any extra parts I need to order than the parts listed?
Thanks :D
Love the build! Do you have the weight of the frame only?
AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..

How are these motors holding up? I'm looking for some 1407s for my 3" build
I really like them! And although crashing a lot from flying agressively, I haven't changed many.
I highly recommend them and consider them to have an insanely good price/value ratio. You don't get the true power you might get from other more expensive motors though.
