Hey guys, this was my second miniquad build and I still regularly fly it. I went from a cheap blackout copy frame with a Naze 32 rev 6 with crappy king kong 2204 motors with king kong 12A escs that were so noisy! What a difference this quad was! So much smoother running dshot 600 and the DYS f4 board on betaflight.

I've had problems with the magnets dropping in one of my racer star br2205 motors so I had to switch in a spare that isn't the same color but I think it adds character! It's definitely not a show build but it is a great, durable platform that I can recommend to any beginner/intermediate pilot.

After having flown this some, how do you like the position of your battery pigtail? I'm struggling to find a spot for it out of the way of the props on my Martian 215, and the place you put yours looks really interesting.

Also, how do you like the Indestructible quads batteries? I have one armored edition, and am contemplating ordering more.

The pigtail location works great! I run all sorts of different brands of batteries and every battery seemed to have a different length of wire. When i had my pigtail located at the back i had the same problem as you... it would interfere with the props.

Now if the pigtail is long, i just tie it down with the velcro strap.

Indestructable quad batteries are awesome! So far they are the mist resistant to sag compaired to the other brands i have used (turnagy nanotech, turnagy graphenes, tattoo r-lines and another green turnagy battery that i cant remember the name of.) For the price they cant be beat IMO.

AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

With the release of the DJI FPV Drone cinematic FPV has become a lot more accessible, but you certainly don't want to crash a $750 drone! The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..
