Another dump of old pics. Another Alien, my second quad, built in mid 2016. Seeing what all of this KISS hype was about. This frame actually came from Impulse RC, just before the the RR edition came out. Had the new style top plate + lipo pad.
Still pretty bad at building at this point, but numerous repairs on my first build had given me a little bit more insight on what to do and what not to do.
Still, plenty of stupid in here. Check out the arrangement of those antennas! You know, for redundancy.
Also took a stab at the poor man's photography backdrop (bathtub), complete with shitty KingKong blades to make it look better (they're horrible - I tried flying them once and went back to HQs).
For the most part, this build is still the same as in the pictures. I started with an RROSD in it (which is in the pictures), but yanked it out once I got hooked on the KISS telemetry.
Like the other Alien, it keeps on choochin'. Running Emax motors now - the original lumeniers I had on there are just too expensive. Picked up RS2205-S' for $15 a piece on a black friday sale. That's the last time this rig has been touched.
