Was considering buying a 6" shrike when Hyph unveiled his plans for the Hyphy.

I really dug some of the ideas he was putting into it, and the shrike was out of stock. So I went for it.

I was still flying KISS rigs and had a bunch of spares left over, so I planned on this being a KISS rig with beefy motors.

Really happy with the way this build came out, with the only unhappy spot being the the thicker gauge wiring used for the ESCs. All I had on hand and I wanted to fly it! Still, turned out pretty clean.

Flying this thing on 5s is just a blast. She does not like to putter about. 6" props were fun on this (the ones in the pics are shitty Gemfans), but I've enjoyed 5051s far more. Once you're up and moving, you stay moving with little effort. Even on a 5s 1300 hauling ass, I'm still getting 3-4 minute flight times.

And despite what the parts list says (I'm lazy), most of this gear came from FPVHQ - Mike is awesome and found ways to help us all out.

With the release of the DJI FPV Drone cinematic FPV has become a lot more accessible, but you certainly don't want to crash a $750 drone! The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..
