The goal was a high speed zooming, big slow looping build. Has been tremendously smooth flying since flashing to 3.2.

Because I know I'm going to break the pretty TPU pod, I had been using this thing sparingly for the last few months despite it flying better than the Chameleon and my other 4-5" bottom mount builds... I've crashed and trashed so many quads recently I've been flying it more, but the fact that everything I really want to do with this build, my 5s 6" ships with crossfire can do better, means it's still only getting a few packs a week.

Have crashed moderately hard on grass with no ill effect, and one good tumble on asphalt - the tips of the arms protecting the motors nicely. I will probably end up breaking an arm and cannibalizing all the electronics sooner or later but for now the bottom plate seems rock solid. Overall carbon quality seems pretty good, but clearly not the absolute best.

Have been playing with RK 5046 in search of the same linear pull with a little better efficiency. Also think this motor would pair well with the new GF 5042, but have yet to try them out.

Speaking of the motors, one of the original 4 caused severe desync issues straight out of the box, flipping the quad on takeoff as though props were on backwards. Wasn't a hard problem to troubleshoot, but definitely disappointing.

Other than the relative fragility of the TPU nose, my only real gripe is with the vtx antenna mount's allowing the SMA connector (and antenna) to move around annoyingly.
