First build. Inspired by UAV futures $99 build and Whiffles Wizard Killer.

08/09/2017 - First build complete. Did it the standard way except for a few things.

• Wanted to use a different PDB so replaced it with an additional glass fibre insulation board to help strengthen the frame.
• Cut the lid off esc covers, stuck esc's on arms with 2mm thick double sided foam tape and zipped tied the covers upside down.
• Reinforced the edges of the frame with several layers of superglue, lightly sanded down and sprayed with matt black car paint. (Not sure its going to make much difference but it was something to do while i waited for parts to arrive!).

• Replaced standoffs and installed lights.
• Cut down silicone battery pads and glued to the top frame and added carbon fibre battery cover.

• Depinned ia6b receiver to make it more compact, (in hindsight should have bought a x6b instead) heat shrinked the aerials to the mount and secured with zip ties.

20/11/2017

Dismal British weather has kept me indoors so decided to begin the rebuild about 2 weeks ago.

• Added some Panasonic FR 25v 470uf low esr capacitors to the esc's to help cut down noise and give a cleaner FPV feed so won't be using the low cut filter.
• Rewired the esc's and used some 6mm wire mesh to protect the motor cables and 20mm clear heat shrink to protect the pdb wires and capacitors.
• Unfortunately there was a short in the LED wiring and my Omnibus F4 was damaged. No breaks in wiring but looks like wire got snagged under a motor compressed enough to make electrical contact. In hindsight, probably a stupid idea to route wiring for the led's round the motors so decided to seperate them and route underneath the frame instead. Not as clean looking but makes it easier to swap out parts. Ordered a Matek F405 as a replacement.
• Connector on my Eachine vtx03 ripped off the board, managed to replace it and got a sma pigtail to use the Aomway antenna but the pigtail broke when i was zip tieing it to the frame so installed an Eachine tx801 instead as it should hopefully be more durable.
• Also replaced ia6b with a ia6c. Its more compact and lighter as it doesn't have the cylinders on the antenna's so they will slide inside the antenna mount without having to heatshrink them. At least with all these replacements i have backups and spares for another build!

Flight controller was very delayed so have only just continued work on it. Just waiting for switch to arrive to complete the LED wiring and then it'll be done :)

• Installed FC, VTX and depinned Turnigy ia6c. Mounted receiver antenna's between arms after much procrastination about which method to use (antenna mount sticking out the back or zip tied on arms)
• Swapped hs1177 camera case as the original plastic screw holes weren't good and the hs1190 case has metal threads for the screws. Unfortunately it's wider so was unable to use the frame side panels. Probably should have got a runcam swift or hs1177v2 alloy case instead. Also swapped 2.8mm lens to a 170 degree fov Go pro lens as recommended by Joshua Bardwell for reduced fisheye distortion over a normal 2.5mm lens. This makes it very similar to the Rotor Riot special edition hs1177.
• Changed the routing of the led wiring to so there is less to snag underneath.
• Soldered a 4 pin header to the rear led buzzer for easy cable removal.
