Newest version has blue canopy/hobbywing F4 FC and 40a ESC 4in1 stack.
Original build has the stock top plate (orange props) and I had separate Racerstar esc's on all arms and a BetaflightF3 board. Upgraded to 4in1 for better COG, reduced weight, and better quality/higher powered ESCs (40a vs. 30a).
Motors feel excellent for this build, butter smooth power delivery and LOTS of it, especially on 5s. Only tried 6" props so far because they work so well I haven't wanted to bother trying anything else.
Slick build dude - where'd you pick up those tpu arm braces?
Thanks! The orange tpu armguards? PiroflipRC - awesome company!

Do you still get good receptions with the stubby Axii all the way down there?
Could you tell me which racerstar ESC you had? I want to build but I don't know if use esc 4in1 or individuals
I need to update this build. My floss has gone through several slick upgrades since this was posted...
But to answer your question - Racerstar RS30AL 30A Blheli_S BB2 2-5S Brushless ESC Built-in RGB LED Dshot600 bought from Banggood lol.
Honestly, it ran super rough and did not do justice to those awesome primoMB motors. I didn't put up with the Racerstars for long and soon went with the full Hobbywing stack + 4in1 ESC and never looked back! Especially for a lightweight build on thin arms, multiple ESCs take away some of what makes this frame so great. Bring that weight into the center of the stack and you get better center of mass and you shed some weight. 4in1 all day! All my builds now.
