Tear-a-blip 2s

Tiny 2s blip style. Camera robbed from an e010s. 12000kv brushless 0705 motors. Does incredibly well, even with a battery the size of the quad. Still looking for a sub 300 mAh battery that's at least 60c, preferably more, and is under 20g...

Note with this frame, the typical 16x16 mount ESC won't fit, as there is no space between the back standoff and normal flight controller size (20x20 edge to edge). The fish pepper is the only ESC I could find that was 16x16 mount and the needed 20x20 (or under if you could find it I guess) dimensions. Others extend a bit past 20x20.

I also had to de-pin the receiver to sandwich it on top of the flight controller. Had to use a multimeter to find direct solder points. Hear shrinked and just let it be squeezed on top.

Super fun flyer. More fun than my racer 130. Don't think I'll ever buy a pre built quad again...

How well is the zop power battery? Thanks.

Good. Gives me the power I need. Wouldn't mind a smaller, lighter battery, but can't find any that looks like they have enough punch (or weigh more than 2 or 3 grams less to justify the loss in mAh). I want to be able to provide a steady 15A. Puffed batteries on other small 1s brushed quads that didn't have the juice to keep up.

First flight out I flew too long (was having too much fun, and no OSD) and drained one battery to 5.8 volts. But it seems fine still. Fly it tonight to find out for sure.

AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

With the release of the DJI FPV Drone cinematic FPV has become a lot more accessible, but you certainly don't want to crash a $750 drone! The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..
