Another build of my most favorite frame ever. This time I took it a step further than all other builds in the past and reduced the standoffs to a height of 15mm(nearly impossible!). This required the stack to be ultra low and the only FC that would sit low enough was the fortini F4-OSD so that is what the build was centered around. The reward though, is an incredibly tough, ultra heavy duty stretched racing frame at a weight of 280g. Yes, it is not the weight of a floss, but it takes head on gate hits, midairs and and even semi hard tree hits with no sweat. Everyone used to laugh at it because I would break an arm or bend standoffs easily, but now the common nickname it has received is " the snowplow" lol. Because I went with the fortini, I decided to try their new flagship vtx, the stealth race . Together, the fortini and stealth vtx make an awesome combo. It's a good bit smaller than the unify pro which is normally my go-to vtx, yet it can still take direct battery voltage and has a built in lc filter. With this setup smart audio is a breeze! All in all, I'm very satisfied with the outcome and will most likely be making modifications to my other flacos in the near future!

Also, big shoutout to MaydayFPV. He designed the amazing pod that allows this quad to accept micro cams and have an ultra low stack. Pod quality is amazing and I'm excited to see what he decides to design next.

Does your OSD display amperage correctly? Mine always displays ~30 amps, but the voltage works as expected. Looks like you didn't use the voltage plug from the 4 in 1, and instead used the pads? Thanks mate!

AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

With the release of the DJI FPV Drone cinematic FPV has become a lot more accessible, but you certainly don't want to crash a $750 drone! The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..
