Building my first quadcopter to learn on for inside use during winter. I am waiting on all the parts. Will post my progress.

Update 12/11/17: I plugged it in and there was smoke. Trying to troubleshoot :(

Update 12/12/17: Desoldered and tested FC with USB, still works! Continuing to troubleshoot.

Update 12/13/17: Tested ESC with new 2s pigtail and NO SMOKE, and the batteries did not get hot like before. I might have found the problem, on the RX, where the antenna was soldered, it looked like it was bridging a component on the board. I tested and there was continuity between the antenna and this component (not sure if mosfet or something else). Not sure if that is OK or the cause of the problem. There is also a small component on the FC that is right next to where the negative goes for the power from the ESC, and it seems impossible for them not to be touching, but I just want to make sure that is the way it is supposed to be., I have attached a picture.

The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..
