This is the evolution of what started life as an Emax Babyhawk and has grown up into the most locked in and balanced micro I've got. It's not the fastest or the most powerful but it flies absolutely beautiful and gives me the confidence to do things that I wouldn't dream of with my other builds.
When you see the black DYS motors that's when it was on 2s and the silver motors are stock on 3s
I'm using the KT100 bottom plate only with JBee's camera pod and motor protectors...

Now with %100 more 3s power and back to the stock Babyhawk 1104 5250kv motors...
Back when it was on 2s with DYS 1105 7,500kv motors...
also dude im sorry if im asking too much (i just want to make the best micro i can make cause im fed up with some parts not meeting my expectations) but dont you think going with 8000kv on 2s is better than going 3s 5250kv? like theres more RPM in the 8000kv 2s. based on my build, many people suggest 1103-1104 8000kv on 2s cause its lighter and more power. any advice?
what 3s bat did you use when you changed back the motors? Great build dude!!
Avan mini 3" props or those Gemfans 3025 props?
Hi. Is the Wolfwhoop AIO Camera significantly better than the stock Babyhawk camera? Will the stock camera fit into JBee's camera pod? I like having the 25mw/200mw switchable option of the stock camera (I've flown mine stock for 3-4 months, and I like your build as an inspiration). BTW, your micro Matty Flip of the tables is sick!
The Wolfwhoop WT-03 (which is 25mw/200mw switchable) is wayyyyyyy better than the Babyhawk camera (which won't fit in the JBee mount) and the Eachine TX-03(also power adjustable) is even better. I actually have to update this build with the new Runcam Micro and TPU mount I'm running now which is heavier but handles dark to light WAY better than the AIO cameras.
6A for 1104 7500kv? Isn’t it too low? Is the micro quad so light that will never need more than 6a on those 1104? Great quad!!
AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..
