Panda Cub 2"

I started looking into a two or three inch build and was struggling to find an affordable option (read "cheaper than a 5 inch quad") that also used reputable parts. A friend guided me towards this setup and I'm incredibly satisfied with it. This was also my first experience with a 4 in 1 ESC and I think I'll be switching over to them exclusively. This Panda Cub is light, fast, and does really well on either 3s or 4s batteries. Much more accessible in smaller areas (like my front yard) and takes only a fraction of the time building and being ready to fly than its big brothers.

In the parts list, some of the parts are left blank, only because they're combined with others. For instance, the ESCs are part of the EMAX flight controller tower; making this build compact and ultimately cheaper.

What Kv 1106 motors did you get? Nice build and definitely a nice budget

They're the 6000kv 1106 motors. Thanks!

AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

With the release of the DJI FPV Drone cinematic FPV has become a lot more accessible, but you certainly don't want to crash a $750 drone! The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..
