All in one lowrider freestyle thing.
Trusty old nighthawk with some custom aluminium plates.
AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

What do you think of the motors? They are selling for twice that price now... They look like a solid choice for 2205 motors... What props do they work on best?
These are great motors. Had them for 1.5 years. Quite powerful for 2205. Crashed them into concrete, asphalt, metal walls, all 4 still spinning smooth.
If they didn't change the manufacturing process, should be good.
Oh, i'm running them on cyclone t5046c now. Probably too heavy for them on the high end, but they give great low-middle end.
And also i'm flying in winter and had those motors fully packed with snow a lot of times. No issues.
You just sold me - I'm getting a set! I was thinking about going Hyperlite, but I've heard shafts (only 3mm) break easier. I'm using rcINpower 1108 and 1506 and have been happy with both of them - I guess it's time to try out 2205. Question: Do they get hot on that t5046c? I see they have self-cooling, any idea if spinning it the other way affects cooling (I typically only use CW motors).
