After flying a brushed Tiny Whoop for awhile I decided to try a brushless build. I wanted something with a little more power and longer FPV range. I got the longer range from the 200mw camera but I think I got too much power for an inside flyer. I am still tuning things. I wanted to be able to fly in and out of my house, which this does, but my flying skills are still those of a rookie, so controlling such a small 2s quad is rough for me. Also I would not recommend these ESCs. They work but fitting them to the arms of the frame was tricky. I should have gone for a 4 in 1 ESC board and built a stack. I will also be testing some other props. The Gemfans are great but they are thrusty and swing VERY close to the wires of the controller. I think i will try some Gemfan 1940s.

It does fly great outside. Here is quick video of the quad in flight:

AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

With the release of the DJI FPV Drone cinematic FPV has become a lot more accessible, but you certainly don't want to crash a $750 drone! The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..
