This is my first quad I've ever built and flown. I went with a larger 280MM frame because I wanted to use some 6" props on the RS2205 2300KV motors. Right now I'm setup using iBus and Multishot running Betaflight 2.9 with stock PID settings and its ultra tight while flying.
My next goal is to get my LEDs mounted on the underside of the arms and get some PID tuning figured out and see how dialed in I can get all of the settings. I also plan on picking up a few 4S batteries once I have a few more weeks of flying time, this thing is crazy fast now so I need a bit more practice before I go any faster!
I'll get some more pictures up over the next few days as well.
NOTES
Frame did not have holes for the RS2205s, I had to drill each arm to accommodate the motors, but overall I'm really enjoying the larger frame.
AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..
