This build I must say came out really nice, only gripe I have is it weighs 389 grams. One thing I can say for sure, with the F40 Pro 2600 KV motors and the Dal Cyclone T5046C props, this 5" 220 Tweaker build does not play around. Lots of power and plenty of battery drain. Even though it is heavy with these motors and prop combination, it flies really nice and sweet, so locked in. These motors are not for every build I must say, however on this build it rocks. Trust me it turns a heavy build like this into "One Mean Machine".
Do you think this frame more capable of being setup as a racer or a free style quad? I keep coming back to look at this thing like every day btw!
You know to be honest out of my 14 builds both 4" and 5" FPV racing quads, this one I have flown the least. What few times I flew this guy all I can tell you is it truly is one mean machine. At 389 grams, with F40 Pro 2600KV T-Motors coupled with DAL Cyclone T5046C you would never know it. Tremendous power indeed, for now it is more of a show off build until I get to fly more. Not efficient with the Dal T5046C, more of a racing setup, while the Dal T5040C is geared more to free style. I flew LOS all of 2017, tried some FPV but wanted to sharpen my LOS skills. Now just getting into FPV, and so addicted I cannot get enough. Will be flying FPV all I can this year, this build will definitely be first on the list. Sorry I could not answer your question on personal bases, since I am currently just getting into FPV. You ought to build one just like it, when you rip it around a big smile will suddenly form on your face.
