Finally finished my black friday build! Got a great deal on most of the parts on getfpv and amazon. Actual cost was only about $135 since I already had the flight controller and 4in1 esc. Really surprised that I was able to fit a three stack in this tiny ass frame.

Nice. Where did you tuck the XM receiver? Also, how do you avoid the SMA hitting the boards with the video antenna laying down?

Nice build! How is your fpv image? I havce a dys f4 pro, and I am using individual esc's on my arms, but i'm thinking about getting another one and using the dys 30amp 4 n 1. I saw the 4 n 1 had bad video noise on Dronemesch's youtube channel, but he could have just gotten a bad one, is it putting lots of bars/static into your fpv feed?

Thanks! I have yet to fly this quad (with the exception of a driveway test hover) because I just finished it today, but I have a chameleon with the same dys stack and a runcam eagle 2 and an akk vtx. No video issues at all and I dont even have a capacitor. Just keep in mind that if you decide to get one of the dys 4in1 board you wont have current sensing anymore since the battery leads go to the esc instead of the flight controller.

Word! Thanks mane! I cut the pins off the one i'm using (FULL COMITTMENT) and i'm cool with that, but it would be slick to pin my stack.

Yeah I cut my pins off as well - it works really well in my build but I will never be buying the ESC stack board.

AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

With the release of the DJI FPV Drone cinematic FPV has become a lot more accessible, but you certainly don't want to crash a $750 drone! The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..
