LHI-H210 (QAV-210 clone)

This is a LHI-H210 (QAV-210 clone). The frame was purchased from Amazon and the bulk of the parts were purchased from RaceDayQuads. I added a skin from Stikit Skins that was made for the QAV-210. This was an enjoyable build. I used the CL Racing F4S for the first time and I like it. I connected power to the CL Racing F4S and then fed power to the Spedix 4in1 30A ESC from the CLRF4S AIO FC. I used RaceDayQuads (RDQ) BadAss Naked Bottom 2205 2450KV motors along with the RDQ Mach 2 VTX and a Foxeer cloverleaf antenna. I installed an FrSky XSR-M on this and extended the antennas off the front arms using zip ties & heat shrink as I have seen other examples. I recently ordered a TPU mount for my GoPro Session but have a universal ABS mount from Thingiverse that a buddy and I printed at the local library for $1.00. I had to dremel it to get it to fit - but it is only temporary until my TPU mount arrives. I will try to post updated pics once the new mount arrives from RDQ.

how are the rdq motors. my research implied that they were not suited well for heavy freestyle quads, so I'm going with the dys 2207s.

This is my first set of RDQ motors. I opted for the naked bottoms for this build. I've got about 12 packs through the motors so far and I like them. I am just using the 2205's on this 210mm build. The RDQ 2205's are Brother Hobby Returner R2 motors branded for RDQ. Grayson Hobby also sells a similar motor in purple w/ their name on it. I am tempted to try the RDQ 2206 or 2306 2450KV motors for my next build. I'm a huge fan of RDQ after a few orders. They've been a great company to purchase from. Good pricing, same day shipping, and excellent shipping status updates unlike some other experiences.

I will say that the RDQ 2205s on my 210 haven't had any issues carrying around a large CNHL 100C battery pack along with a GoPro Hero 5 Session.

I've heard good things about the DYS 2207s and that they are tough. I would like to try them one day too. What are you putting the DYS 2207s on?

You can look at my budget martian build, and also hows the mach2 is the almost $30 price tag really worth it.

Looks like you've got the price down low on your build but with good gear. Good luck with the 2207's. As for the Mach 2's $29 price, I guess I thought it was worth it to have the support from RDQ in the event of issues with smart audio when Betaflight updates in the future to 3.3. I could have purchased a clone made by AKK and sold on Amazon and saved $7.00 to $8.00. I read somewhere that AKK makes the Mach 2 VTX for RDQ but also sells a clone / copy. As for performance / features, it is very nice. I do not regret purchasing the Mach 2 but the AKK should be the same thing.

AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

With the release of the DJI FPV Drone cinematic FPV has become a lot more accessible, but you certainly don't want to crash a $750 drone! The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..
