Mini Mach 1

My first brushless build! Space was tight and I'm new to soldering, so this was quite the challenge. No maiden flight yet due to inclement weather, but everything seems to function in small living room tests. My biggest concern is that the camera's FoV is obstructed by the props too much. It seems like the plug is what's keeping me from getting the angle I want, but I'm not great at soldering so I'm nervous to take it off. I'm also looking for a more size-appropriate battery strap and a way to secure the antenna. Any advice would be much appreciated. I'll update with higher quality pics and flight videos as I get them :)

Not bad for a first build! I recently built a mini mach and definitely noticed some of the same stuff. Props in view can only be solved so much, motor height and the height of the standoffs really effect capability. Cam angle can remedy that some but before you know it you will also be zooming around quite fast. I would definitely suggest keeping the connector on the Micro Swift. With the stack you went with its a little hard to modify the height of it, but there might be some space saving you can do. I was able to feed my XM+ in between the 4 in 1 and the FC which saved some space and even cut off the extra nylon on top of the stack standoff threads. If you move around your VTX a little bit you can pop off the U.FL connector and feed it through one of the top holes which i have had no problems with so far with video break up and antenna positioning. I will also suggest the biggest roll of double sided VELCRO you can buy off amazon, you will never have to buy battery straps again and you can cut it down to the perfect size you need, about 8 or $9. Feel free to DM me with any questions, I will help however I can!
