my first build was made of wood, woodglue and good intentions also. it tought me alot but it felw like shit.

Exactly! After the first flight I learned a lot and completely tore it down and rebuilt it

Horribly, I would take off and panic and try to land but it was so heavy with would come down really fast so I would panic again and try to soften the landing so it just kept smacking the floor

It was terrible haha I only flew it up and down a few times, it was far too heavy
