After having built my first 280MM setup I decided on a smaller, faster more agile X style frame for my 4S speed demon quad. The new setup is built around a 220M Reptile Martian III (Alien 5" Clone) with a shorter main body with a Lumenier 4Power+ PDB. It has a 1.5mm top plate, 2mm base plate, and 3.5mm arms, all 3k Carbon Fiber. Running a set of the DYS XSD 30A v2 esc's running Dshot600 on a Lumenier Lux V2 FC thats running Betaflight 3.1.7 on an 8khz gyro/8khz PID setup cycle. Motors for this setup are the upgraded EMAX RS2205S 2300KVs.
Same type of FPV setup, using a 700tvl CCD and a newer more powerful 600mw transmitter as I've seen some banding and signal loss using the 200mw setup on my previous quad. Using the same brand of batteries, Tattu 1550mah 45c 4S, as they've been rock solid. Just upgraded to a Taranis X9D so using a de-pinned X8R using SBus with full telemetry and PID tuning on the transmitter.
Super happy with how clean all of the wiring came out in this one, especially with how small of a frame space I had to work with. Now I just need to find something to clean up all the flux.
UPDATE 1/25/2018
Added a new AKK X2 VTX and swapped to some Tattu R-line 2.0 1550 100C 4S batteries. Also upgraded the lens on the camera to a Vicdozia 2.5mm 170 Degree Wide Angle Gopro HD Lens. Also made up an almost 90 degree XT60 connector for the new batteries, they were a bit shorter than the previous ones.
AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..

How do the arms mount with the lumineer pdb the stock red pdb has 2 holes for mounting the arms. How does it go together?
They way I have it put together are the inner 4 hex screws go in from the top through the arms and down into the nuts. Then I have the middle four hex screws coming up through the arms and the main plate into four small nylon nuts, then on top of that I have the PDB and then som anti-vibration standoffs then the FC. The final 4 outer holes have the hex screws going down as well into the small carbon plate below the quad with some small standoffs to allow space for my VTX and receiver. If you need more pictures I can toss some up.
