I got to hypetrain of Armattan Rooster. I wanted to appreciate the people who innovate by buying their product and not just a clone. I might buy a Reverb in the future aswell but let's get back to Rooster.
I opted for 6" version because I just like 6" more. I feel more confortable. I did not really had this thought out. I had some parts unsued (FlameF4, XSR eg.) in my shelf so it was a bit tricky to build for me. Especially the FlameF4 is bit hard to solder because the pads are small.
I think I must have missed something in Chris's build video because I did not managed to put the sunk nuts correctly and the carbon delaminated a bit. Some of the flat had bolts were not good and I had to replace them with steel ones. I still get bit of slop in arms when I pull really hard. I decided to leave it like that because I could not tighten the screws much harder. Other than that all went well.
I am not very happy with the antenna mounting solution. I would rather have them in similar position as on Reverb. I will also have to make my power leads longer because now it is bit difficult to mount my Xiaomi Yi. I am also bit bothered by the fact that I can not lower my fpv camera below the protective stand off. I guess I will have to learn to fly faster.
The build was harder then I expected. I was bit disappointed by the dry weight (385g) when I first saw it. I am not sure whether 4in1 esc would help to ease the build. May be a little but then I would have to place Matek VTX-HV elsewhere. Also the issue with bolts and delamitation did not help much to brighten my mood.
On the bright side: I decided to rotate FC 180° to have xt60 in the front as Armattan does it. Because of that I had to re-map the motors in BTFL which was a new experience for me and I am glad I managed that. The low profile copter looks really nice and sleek. Titanium shines and it flies (only hover tested).
I look forward flying it.

Notes: I checked the weight. AUW is 660g with Xiaomi Yi and 1500mAh 4s pack. That does not look that bad when compared to 667g of my MartianII 250 with same load. I have also pro-longered the power leads on xt60 so it does not interfere with HD cam.
AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..

In betaflight you can tell it that you have rotated the fc 180 instead of remmapping the motors, gyro or acc may have issues if you dont set that. Not sure how you did it, happy flying looks great! Waiting on my rooster 😊
Thanks for hint. I will look into that. Remapping resources and telling FC that YAW axis is 180° worked for me.
