After the KISS comes the Betaflight (again).
I activated the LED on the ESCs and added a LED circle to the bottom plate. It came out with a dry weight of 378 grams and an AUW (w/o HD cam) of 527g.
AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

love this build its just so expensive.. how are the escs and motors?
What size cap is that, and can you check out my first build and lmk if its anygood?
What size cap do you mean? I've just checked your "Budget packed performance", looks good to me. Although I'm not very familiar with low-cost stuff (and I would not go with RaceFlight, but that's a personal preference). Maybe you could save some money by replacing FC and PCB with a low-cost AIO FC with an integrated PDB.
Concerning the motors and ESCs: I've only flown 2 packs so far, but I like the combo very much. Super-smooth, absolutely no vibrations and a tough punch!
what size capacitor?
The one that came with the FC (470uF).
