Frame without electronics came in at 112g. Full build weighs 345g without HD cam and 422g with HD cam.
*A note on these motors...the motor wires do not reach the 4-in-1 ESC in the center stack. I had to solder a very short extension.
I really agonized on this frame or the Rooster and ended up with the Rooster. Your build is really making me second guess myself. It is beautiful. Nicely done ... enjoy it!!
I order 2 6" roosters aswell, I hope they are good. really wish armattan would make a stretch X version instead of the compressed X and adding the Arms to the top plate instead of the bottom plate design that makes them top heavy, I think it would be the most amazing frame ever. I know they make frames for ppl wondering how much it would cost to design a frame and have them cut it? I hope you enjoy your frames there, I got mine for 17% off on sale, they just shipped today.
Id really like to do a long range build, really enjoy that type of flying. I didn't think so either as far as companies not making freestyle stretched X frames. might be able to have armattan make some special arms that are longer on the rear to make it a stretched X design for longer range stuff. anyways, have a good evening, ttyl
AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..

I'm starting to build mines with the HW F4 stack, can you show any pictures of the inside of the frame to see how the electrics are installed ?
im doing this exact same build. Im guessing that in BF ill need to roll 180* on the FC? What about motor Mapping?
You do have to change motor mapping in addition to the FC orientation in BF. I followed the instructions in this video
. He covers everything there. In the last 2 min he specifically explains how to do it for the Remix. This is how mine turned out:
resource MOTOR 1 A03
resource MOTOR 2 A02
resource MOTOR 3 B00
resource MOTOR 4 B01
YES! Thanks!
