This is another very different take from Andy Shen. Its currently setup for a Gopro session but once I get a Gopro Fusion I'll switch out the removable/interchangeable cam mount. Linear whip antenna was just for powering up. I will probably go with a Lumenier or Tbs. Thank you to my friend Paul.
AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. Hello Charles
You've got an impressive collection ...
The Ichabod makes me wonder how different length arms behave in fly, is there any problem ? Or does the FC make it totally transparent ?
My goal is to build (design included) an 8inch quad, with the nice idea of using the arms between the 2 main plates, like the ichabod or the Hyperlow frames, vert or race, those 3 frames seem great and clever to me. In adition I bought the ZMX minotaur (you have them in an other built I think)
So question after you flew the ichabod, do you think a 8inch one with bigger arms in the front would fly properlly ? And what about vibrations ???? (excuse my french english :)
Thank you !
The ichabod flies great and is a very smooth rig for video.... this video on the other hand was just to show that it's not a slouch either and can around quite nicely. https://instagram.com/p/Bfv6KwOHs3U/
Nice indeed, and no vibrations . It makes me feel confident to go in that build direction.
Thx !
