Started off as a budget build and has slowly morphed into being a bit more than that. I wanted an inexpensive frame and high quality components that didn't break the budget. With many frames having a lowrider design, I wanted to integrate that into my build as well by using lower standoffs.
Ended up at 363g and it passed the hover test! Pretty happy fir my first 5" build.
how are the 2205 motors holding up with the heavy wieght and how did you get them so cheap?
They seem to be doing pretty well so far. I only got to properly do a full maiden today after working out some VTX issues. I was able to get them for $10/ea from RaceDayQuads.com Not sure if it was a sale or what.
