Things I learnt along the way:
Don't use unleaded solder and a terrible soldering iron just because that's what you had at the time. Be patient and get the right stuff.
Charge your battery before using it. Don't let it get too low.
Think about whether or not you want conventinal or reversed direction motors before you solder them.
First build? Looks good. How about some more photos?
Thanks! Yeah it's my first build.
I'll try to take some more photos when I get a chance (hopefully this weekend)
I actually took a lot of inspiration from your build and I was constantly checking it while I was building to see how you'd done it! So thanks for the help!
I ordered lower profile standoffs but later realised that my fpv camera wouldn't allow for them.. :(
Jut a quick note, you can reverse motor direction in BLHeli-S software. Will you release some flight footage. I'm curious to see how it flies
Yeah but then I'd be concerned that the prop nuts would spin off.
And of course, I'll put up some footage of me smashing it to bits on my maiden flight! ;)
Where did you post the footage of you smashing it to bits on your maiden flight? ;) I would like to know where did you put the antenna? And did it survive?
