AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..

You might want to update your motor quantity. I'm working on one of these myself. Do your standoffs show up on camera using the stock camera mount? I purchased a diatone camera frame for mine and I'm sliding it a bit further forward to avoid that. Also, where are you mounting your batteries? And finally how does the build perform overall?
Thanks, actually the standoffs come in to view if I tilt the angle alot and I've only noticed a few times, but you are right.
I put abit of velcro on the bottom and it seems to work fine without a battery strap.
For my needs, it flew fine, but after a few crashes, it's starting to break because the bottom plate is only 2.5mm, will need to do a transplant to a stronger body very soon lol.
I'm sorry to hear it's not holding up. I haven't even maidened mine yet. Did you apply superglue to the edges to keep the fiber from separating? Where are the weak points?
yeah i applied ca glue and even sanded down the edges.
weak points at the end of the arms where the motors mounted.
Although, my crashes were on concrete..
Ouch, no other place to fly? I'm only going to be flying over grass.
