Living right downtown in a big city like Vancouver has its perks, but not without its disadvantages. For pilots like us, the biggest draw back is finding a spot to fly. That's why I created the AirBlade Dark Knight. As the name suggested, nobody will ever know your quad was even there!!!
AirBlade Dark Knight comes in 2" and 2.5" variations. It was designed to take light motor like 1103 on 2S or 3S. The motor mounts only need 2 screws to reduce the weight, and also the cut out for c-clip only accommodate motors with small c-clip (for the time being). You can either run 16x16 or 20x20 stack, but I'd recommend 16x16 stack to save weight. The particular stack I run has OSD and additional UART for Smart Audio control. In fact, I'm using TBS Unify Nano and I have full SA control, all the crazy features in a small package!
You can build this frame with the back motors either facing down ot facing up. I built mine facing down so I can run the battery on top if I want to
Got a video of it in air? Kind of curious
i dont have one right now but Albert Kim has one on his channel
Got ya. Was going to build this same setup but wanted to see how it flew first.
