Since I built the Massive Droner, I've become a huge fan of the 2-3" builds. They handle almost as well as a 5" and I can fly them in my back yard. The only thing I missed on that build was HD video, so I was really excited when I heard about the Acrobrat.

I had the F440 set aside for a different build, but it really wasn't going to fit in the frame the way I wanted so I decided to use it here. I wanted to wait for the Hypetrain Brat motors, but I'm impatient so I chose the Brother Hobby instead. I had a spare Crossfire nano in my parts box as well as the extra minion. For the HD camera I went with the Split Mini. I thought about the caddx turtle, but decided to stick with Runcam because I've had zero issues with their cameras. Last piece was the vtx. I hate the ufl connectors on the Unify, and I wanted a 20x20 mountable vtx since the frame has a place to mount it, so the AKK was an easy choice. The only miscellaenous parts I bought was the brain3d printed parts to mount the antennas and help protect the bottom of the frame.

Not sure about the lipo, but I have some 3s 800's laying around and maybe a 3s 1300 if I want to try to push the range on this guy.

It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

With the release of the DJI FPV Drone cinematic FPV has become a lot more accessible, but you certainly don't want to crash a $750 drone! The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..
