This is my newest 3" long ranger with HD. I ended up transplanting my gear from a RotorX Switchback into the Shendrones Pteromini Split frame. The new frame's dual mounting positions allowed me to squeeze everything in nicely, and makes maintenance a dream. The long nose is designed to keep the props out of view.

132 grams dry and 205 grams with a 650mah 4S (5min flights)

Very cool! HD, long range and GPS in a small package. How many minutes of flight time can you get out of it?

I had a ~4:30min flight with 445mah used out of an 850mah 4S. Its a fairly heavy battery though. It much prefers a 650mah.

absolutely, as soon as I get it in the air and tuned. This is my first quad with such a long nose, so I want to get the PIDs and filters right.

Here's a video of my second battery. I still need to tune out the prop wash, but it should give you a good idea.
