Honestly, the sheathing on TOUGH-GRID paracord is much better and about 1/32" larger in diameter. Check it out www.toughgrid.com and see if it would be an improvement, they have excellent ratings on Amazon so it looks good.

So the moral of the story: 3D printed parts don't last on 250's. I shrink tubed some zip-ties to my antennas to give them some rigidity. It's worked well so far!

I did. The paracord is great where you need more flexibility with smaller cables. My only mistake was not getting the neon green paracord without the black running though it ;)

How do you mean more flexibility?

Techflex (The braided wrap) like the neon green in my build tends to be less flexible - its nice for longer / larger gauge runs. The paracord can flex and bend much easier, but can't take the larger gauge wire.

Realistically I could have used paracord everywhere similar to the ZMR250 v2 Clean build - but I like my motor wires tidied up in one wrap instead of three. So I chose to use a mix of paracord and techflex.

So it's mainly aesthetic? I can see how sending multiple wires through a single paracord would look much neater, but it won't necessarily provide protection that would prevent a wire from breaking.

I think both forms (paracord AND techflex) provide some form of protection, being that from the frame itself. If you don't sand the edges - and run cables direct against the frame - then relatively small vibrations can cut through cables pretty quick. I've seen this before.

But - even with this in mind, my frame is sanded - so yeah, its mostly an aesthetics thing.

Those are some good considerations. I wouldn't have thought the vibrations could cut a wire.

Big time.Its called chaffing.Leave the chaffing long enough it could cut wire.You will probaly have a short long before it physically cuts right through wire though.

I'll have to pay attention to that. I may have a wire or two that crosses the edges of my plates.
